• Parent/Guardian: Full name, email address, phone number, password
• Child/Student: First and last name, date of birth, swim level, enrollment date

3. SMS and Mobile Information

By providing your phone number, you may optionally choose to receive SMS updates from MatchPoint NYC Aquatics. These messages may include progress updates, competition reminders, and administrative notifications. SMS consent is entirely optional and is not a condition of registration or service.

• Opt-In: You can opt-in to SMS by providing your number during registration or by texting START to our number.
• Opt-Out: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the short code. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed.
• Help: If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance.
• Rates: As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies.

Your information is used solely to operate the MatchPoint Swim application:

• To track your child's swim progress and skill development
• To facilitate communication between coaches, administrators, and parents
• To send notifications about your child's achievements and updates
• To manage competition registrations (Fun Swim and other events)
• To display photos and videos of swim sessions

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Who Can Access Your Information

• Administrators (MatchPoint NYC Aquatics staff): Full access to all student and parent data
• Coaches: Access to their assigned students' progress, photos, and messages.
• Parents: Access only to their own child's profile, progress, and messages

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

MatchPoint Swim is designed for use by parents and guardians on behalf of their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All accounts are created and managed by parents or guardians.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure password hashing, and access controls to protect your data. All data is stored on secure servers.
